Saints Simon & Jude Eastern Orthodox Church

An English-speaking, open-minded parish in the canonical tradition of Eastern Orthodoxy

Welcome To Our Community !

Much of Christianity that has dominated western civilization, is often lacking the original worship forms of the early church, which provide some of the mystical and spiritual needs of our times.

Every time we connect with one another in a positive and loving way, whether by a smile, by a hug or by conversation, we raise the spark of divinity within ourselves.

Through our acts of divine love in charity and prayer we not only serve each other, but through worship we also manifest God in our midst. We minister to all of God's creation through our belief in healing and reconciliation.

We reflect the love of God to those around us, regardless of class, creed, skin color, walk of life ...

(John 13:35; 1 Cor 13; Galatians 3:28)

We strengthen and encourage the existence and growth of community.

(Ephesians 2:19 - 22; 1 Corinthians 12:12–14; Acts 2:42-47)

We teach and practice the Orthodox Christian faith as handed down by the Holy Church throughout the ages.

(Jude 1:3; Deuteronomy 6:6-7)

We are a place of peace, healing and reconciliation.

(2 Corinthians 13:11; Psalm 69:30; 1 Corinthians 10:16-17; James 5:13–16)

We invite you to the journey ...

  • We come together in the spirit of love, friendship and compassion

  • We experience the loving God in traditional Orthodox worship and piety

  • We affirm Christ's acceptance, forgiveness and healing as core values
